IN Focus: State party leaders weigh in on key races

INDIANAPOLIS - With less than two months until the November election, party leaders from both sides are weighing in on the key races for President, Governor and Senate.

In the video above, we sit down with Indiana GOP state chairman Jeff Cardwell and the state chairman for the Indiana Democrats, John Zody.

Cardwell says he's proud of Gov. Mike Pence, giving him much of the credit for Trump's bounce back in recent polls.

Cardwell and Zody also talked about the recent residency controversy surrounding Senate candidate Evan Bayh, and the latest numbers in the race for Governor.

A new poll Friday from Howey Politics showed Bayh and Todd Young in a statistical dead heat, with John Gregg leading Eric Holcomb by five points in the race to replace Gov. Pence.
