Autumn opens very warm, while rain chances remains absent

More of the same this Thursday morning! The last couple of mornings have been incredible...under clear skies and comfortable temperatures! Sunrise for this first day of fall arrives at 7:33 a.m., with the official start to the season beginning at 10:21 a.m. Additional sunshine today with light winds should boost our temperatures right back into the upper 80s to near 90° in some locations. If you are wondering, this late in September our afternoon highs should average 75°, so yes, this is unusually warm this time of the year but not record setting!

A shift to cooler weather is still in the cards for early next week, as rain chances slowly return! Our first true taste of autumn weather could have some spots falling into the 40s in the overnight, with highs only in the lower 70s. We'll keep you posted over the next days for any changes...
