Perry Meridian's D'Andre Miles and Cathedral's Luke Sanders.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – From all the prep football action we saw Friday night across Central Indiana, two plays stood out above the rest. They are nominees for the FasTrack Mechanical Play of the Week, and your vote will determine the winner.

NOMINEE #1: PERRY MERIDIAN’S D’ANDRE MILES

Playing undefeated Columbus North, Perry Meridian certainly wanted to come out of the gates strong, and that they did. In a scoreless game, D'Andre Miles slid behind the defense and hauled in a pass with one hand while tumbling through the rain and into the end zone. The score gave Perry Meridian an early lead, though the Falcons could not hang on, losing to Columbus North 31-13.

NOMINEE #2: CATHEDRAL'S LUKE SANDERS

The Irish have been a threat to uncork a big play all season, and they proved it again Friday night. Quarterback Quincy Keller fired a pass deep downfield that fell right into the outstretched left hand of Luke Sanders. Sanders was able to bring it it and scamper down the sideline for a Cathedral touchdown. The Irish needed some more firepower in the end however as Fishers took the game 27-17.
