FALL 2016

To date Fall 2016 ranks among the warmest 9% on record.  The recent cool down is ending and warmer than normal weather will get back on track for the upcoming work week.

Since September 1st, the start of meteorological fall, nearly 70% of the days have been above normal - averaging 4.5° per day above normal.

Average temperatures have been well above normal past 30 days

The upper low that lingered since last Wednesday is departing and moving now off to the northeast late Sunday.  Sunshine and "ridging" a buckle in the jet stream overhead will provide sunnier and warmer days this week.  High temperature could surpass the 80 degree mark by mid week!

A steady warm up is expected as high pressure replaces the departing upper low. Temperatures will be above normal for the upcoming work week
