Two lanes of EB I-70 closed near I-465 as hazmat crew cleans up chemical spill

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The right two lanes of eastbound Interstate 70 have been closed near I-465 on the east side Sunday afternoon.

INDOT says the closure is due to a chemical spill that hazmat crews are working to clean up.

Officials say drivers should expect delays as their travel eastbound on I-70 near mile marker 89.4.
