Police searching for man suspected of robbing northwest side Dollar General at gunpoint

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is searching for a man wanted for robbing a Dollar General on the northwest side.

Police say the black male suspect robbed the store at 4001 North High School Road around 9:20 p.m. on Sept. 26.

The man reportedly laid an Aldi’s plastic bag on the front counter of the store while holding a handgun, then demanded cash from the register. Police say the suspect then laid his gun on the counter as he put the money into the bag and fled on foot.
