IMPD locates suspect vehicle after child injured in hit-and-run on northwest side

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – A person is in serious condition after being hit while crossing the road on the northwest side of Indianapolis.

The accident happened at 38th Street and Moller Road just after 3 p.m.

Police say a juvenile was hit by a car, and the driver continued northbound on Moller Road.

Police located a suspect vehicle, and they are questioning the driver.

The child was transported to Riley Hospital in serious but stable condition.
