Clear and pleasant to start this Friday morning and another beautiful day ahead! Today should mark the 111th, 80° plus day (average is 100 days) for Indianapolis.

A cold front arrives tonight between 6:00pm-9:00pm…this should bring an increase in clouds and a few isolated showers, maybe a small storm chance. Wind speeds will increase too, as temperatures begin to drop through the overnight! This will bring us back to normal temperatures for Saturday and Sunday with some chilly mornings but tons of sunshine. Your 7 day forecast below…

Hurricane Matthew continues to run parallel to the Florida coastline. As long as it continues on this track, as a category 3 hurricane with the worst of the winds staying off shore…damage should be minimal! Flooding and storm surge will do its own damage but this WILL NOT be a crushing blow to the state
