State Road 46 closures announced for Columbus’s Ethnic EXPO Festival

COLUMBUS, Ind.—The Indiana Department of Transportation has issued a permit to the City of Columbus for closing parts of State Road 46 during this weekend’s 33rd annual Ethnic EXPO Festival.

A single lane on S.R. 46/Second Street will close between Jackson and Franklin Streets in downtown Columbus beginning at 8:30 a.m. Friday (Oct 7th)—and continuing through 11:30 p.m. Saturday (Oct. 8th) to accommodate festival attractions.

On Saturday, S.R. 46/Third Street will close between Franklin and Brown Streets from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. to make way for the Ethnic EXPO Festival parade.

This year’s Ethnic EXPO features an international bazaar, food vendors and musical entertainment.
