PHOTOS: Over 250 volunteers gather to combat illegal dumping on northwest side

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – More than 250 volunteers with Keep Indianapolis Beautiful gathered Saturday to combat illegal dumping on the northwest side.

Volunteers spread out in the area bound by East Riverside Dr., 38th Street, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street and W. 16th Street from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Along with cleaning up area streets and alleyways, volunteers also painted and removed dilapidated fencing along Riverside.
