Investigators looking into possible act of arson on city’s northeast side

Indianapolis, IND. — Investigators believe a fire that caused $50,000  in damage was likely set on purpose.

Twelve Indianapolis Fire Department units were dispatched to 3701 N Shadeland Avenue around 12:27 this morning. The blaze was under control about ten minutes later.   A portion of the Sandoval Auto Sales body shop was damaged.

Though nobody was hurt in the fire, Fire Investigators are looking into it as a possible act of arson.

Investigators are asking anyone with more information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-262-TIPS.
