Spotty showers around this morning, while mild air remains in place. This batch of rain is NOT the main event! Morning showers will be gone around 9 a.m., as additional sunshine works in on breezy, southwest winds. Most of the afternoon will be dry, warm and breezy with highs reaching the upper 70s. Very warm for mid-October averages!

A cold front on the move and arriving here tonight will bring us heavier rain and storms. Along with a rainy, breezy night, our temperatures will be falling quickly tonight and on through Thursday morning. A chilly end to the workweek is expected with some frost possible by Friday morning.
