Johnson County Humane Society builds shelters for feral cats

FRANKLIN, Ind. - The Johnson County Humane Society will hold its first annual Shelterpalooza event Sunday, also National Feral Cat Day, to build winter shelters to keep the feral cat population warm.

The event is at the Johnson County Humane Society, 3827 N. Graham Rd., Franklin, Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and more volunteers are needed.

All the supplies will be provided and shelters will be available for people to take home to care for feral cats throughout the community.
