INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — A police officer avoiding a collision with another driver crashed into a retaining wall on the interstate early this morning.

That was on I-465 on the north side of Indianapolis, near Michigan Road and Meridian Street.

The woman in the other car told police she did not see the officer’s cruiser when changing lanes.  The officer was able to avoid her car, but crashed into the wall.
