INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — If you’re in the market for a job, a job fair next week should draw your interest.

Joella’s Hot Chicken is looking for 75 people to fill a variety of jobs at its first Indiana location, which is set to open next month.

The job fair is scheduled for Nov. 14 through Nov. 18 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the restaurant, located at 4715 E. 96th Street in Indianapolis. Jobs will pay up to $14 an hour with positions including managers, cooks, cashiers, guest ambassadors, dining room attendants and dishwashers.

Interested applicants need to bring a valid ID and “a great attitude,” the company said. This is the fifth new restaurant the Louisville-based casual dining chain has opened in the last year. More locations are planned for Indiana and the Midwest.

“We take pride in creating a fun and rewarding working environment by paying above average wages and empowering our employees, by allowing them to recognize and reward loyal customers as they see fit,” said Tony Palombino, founder/CEO of EAP Restaurant Concepts.

Grand opening festivities for next month will include a year of free chicken for the first 100 people in line. The date hasn’t been set yet.

Joella’s Hot Chicken offers all-natural, made-from-scratch Nashville hot chicken in six spice levels: Traditional Southern, Spiked Honey, Ella’s Fav, Tweener, Hot and “Fire- in da-Hole.”

The restaurant also serves up homemade side dishes like creamy mac and cheese, sweet-vinegar slaw and kale crunch salad. Other unique offerings include Nutella poppers, banana puddin’ and Boylan craft soda, in addition to local craft beers.
