INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Looking for an appetizer recipe for your holiday gathering? Cami O’Herren from The Wellington came up with an easy way to serve your guests Beef Wellington.



8 oz chopped mushrooms

2 shallots chopped

2 tables butter

2 tablespoons oil

1 tablespoon chopped parsley

Salt pepper

Sauté above ingredients and cool


Cut up 6 oz beef

Shred Swiss cheese 5 oz

Add both to mushroom mixture and mix


Puff pastry sheet cut into 9 squares  put a small scoop of mixture into pasture. Continue

Add egg wash before baking


Horseradish mixture

1 minced garlic clove

2 tablespoons horse radish

1/3 cup sour cream

Mix. ( horseradish to taste)

Serve with dollop on Beef Wellington


Bake at 400 or until brown
