BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — The tone was set from the beginning of the game. The Hoosiers jumped out to the lead from the very first possession and never relinquished it.

In a Sweet 16 rematch, Indiana saw five players score in double figures, compared to UNC’s two players in double figures. OG Anunoby led the way for IU with 16 points.

The Tar Heels made a late run to cut their deficit to just four points with 4:52 left in the game, but the Hoosiers held off their late game rally to hand North Carolina their first loss of the season.

After the game Tom Crean addressed the effectiveness of Indiana’s guards against UNC:

The Hoosiers will next face the SIU Edwardsville Cougars at Assembly hall on Friday night.
