Good morning and welcome to meteorological winter (Dec. 1)! It certainly feels like the proper time/season of the year, as temperatures have tumbled in the past 12 hours and winds are now steady at 10-20 mph. Needless to say, wind chills are in the 20s and roads are dry, so an extra layer is needed today. Expect mostly cloudy skies, blustery conditions and seasonal temperatures to round out your Thursday afternoon!

More sunshine to build in for Friday and Saturday, as temperatures slowly climb slightly above average (44°). Rain chances return by Sunday and could mix with snow at times, especially for the northern 1/3 of the state which will have colder air more available. Be sure to stick with us for more updates on the upcoming weekend and a more active pattern beginning for the upcoming weeks!
