Indianapolis men arrested on drug dealing charges in Bartholomew County

BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY, Ind. – Two Indianapolis men were arrested Thursday for allegedly dealing drugs in Bartholomew County.

Deputies say the arrests were part of a two-month investigation into illegal drug sales.

James Cantrell, 39, was arrested in the 1400 block of S Leland Avenue in Indianapolis, where authorities found methamphetamine and heroin. He was taken into custody without incident.

Cantrell has been charged with two counts of dealing methamphetamine and two counts of dealing heroin. He will also face possession of methamphetamine and possession of heroin charges in Marion County. His bond was set at $700,000 at the Bartholomew County Jail.

Johnny Flaugher, 29, was taken into custody in the 300 block of S Walcott in Indianapolis.

Flaugher has been charged with one count of dealing methamphetamine. He will also face possession of heroin charges in Marion County.  His bond was set at $250,000 at the Bartholomew County Jail.

JNET and DEA agents have been working together on several drug investigations that are directly connected to Columbus and Bartholomew County.
