HARTFORD CITY, Ind. – A Hartford City man is charged with voyeurism after investigators say he hid wireless cameras in a bathroom to record people in the shower.

According to the Star Press, someone who lives at the house found the cameras on Oct. 9. One was under towels on the shelf while another was on a table next to the bathroom door, a report from the Blackford County Sheriff’s Department said.

Rory Lee Cain, 33, is charged with voyeurism.

A witness said Cain told her about the cameras, telling her he could monitor them on his cellphone and TV. Deputies who searched Cain’s home found two cameras and a system to burn the footage onto DVDs.

Investigators also seized marijuana and drug paraphernalia, the report said, as well as a desktop computer.

Voyeurism is a Level 6 felony that carries a one-year sentence.
