UPDATE: The Winter Weather Advisory has been expanded across central Indiana from 10 p.m. Friday until 7 a.m. Saturday. A yellow travel advisory has been issued for Hamilton County, meaning routine travel or activities may be restricted in areas because of a hazardous situation.
The evening commute should remain mostly dry. But conditions will change throughout the night.
Precipitation will be light and really does not ramp up until later tonight.  A quick look at forecast radar 10 PM Friday from latest RPM model is posted below.
Light snow accumulation of up to 1" and a light coating of ice is possible until temperatures climb throughout night especially over north central Indiana.   I'm posting the latest snowfall possibility through 8 am Saturday.
It's after 2-3 am that the wintry mix changes to rain from south to north. Travel conditions will improve for motorists by sunrise Saturday area-wide.  If travelling further north to northern Indiana,  conditions will be slick through  noon.
Precipitation will be light but be careful if out late. Ice accumulation will remain at .10" or less. However, secondary roadways, sidewalks and driveways may become slick!
