IMPD at scene of east side shooting, confirms victim in critical condition

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – IMPD has confirmed that they are on the scene of a shooting on the east side tonight.

It took place on Hendricks Place just off E. Washington St. at around 8:50 p.m.

Police say two men in their 60’s were arguing and one of the men reportedly shot the other one three times. The victim ended up at an Indianapolis Fire Department at 1715 E. Washington St.

The man was in critical condition and is reportedly in surgery Wednesday night at Eskenazi Hospital.

IMPD confirms the suspected shooter is in custody.
