    COLUMBIA CITY, Ind. – Authorities canceled a Silver Alert for a missing 81-year-old man after he was found alive and well. The Columbia City Police Department issued the alert early Monday morning, and they canceled it a few hours later. Family reported Ronald Hull, 81, missing after he wasn’t seen for several hours, but police say he was later found alive and well.

    INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis Metropolitan Police are looking for the suspect or suspects connected to an overnight shooting on the city’s west side. The shooting happened shortly after 1 a.m. Tuesday, at an apartment complex near 38th St. and Eagle Creek Parkway.     INDIANAPOLIS — A party at a south side residence ended abruptly when a fight escalated into a stabbing, and a car drove into a pond. About 2:15 a.m. Wednesday, police were called to the 1100 block of Lake Tree Place on a report of a person having been stabbed.     BROWNSBURG, Ind. — A small fire at the Bulldog Sports Bar and Brownsburg Bowl building caused minor damage early Monday. Fire units were called about 12:30 a.m. to the building located at 18 Whittington Dr. on the north end of Brownsburg. They found a small, smokey fire in an exterior room at the front of the building.   • Metro police investigating double shooting on city’s east side

    INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — A shooting on the city’s east side early Sunday left two victims wounded. Police say James Allen, 60, and Dominique Davis, 38, were shot at a residence in the 2800 block of E. Michigan St. about 1:30 a.m. One victim suffered gunshot wounds to the arms. The other was shot in the back. Both victims were transported to the hospital for treatment. This story will updated when more information becomes available.  

  • Man fatally shot on southeast side; possible suspect identified

    INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — One person is dead following a shooting on the city’s southeast side. It happened about 10:45 p.m. Saturday in an alley near Southeastern Ave. Police were called to the 300 block of State Ave., where they found the body of a male in his late twenties to early thirties. He was pronounced dead at the scene with a gunshot wound. Investigators are securing a warrant for a possible suspect identified only as a nearby neighbor.
