620x349_BobBob joined WXIN Fox 59 in 1991 when the station started its award-winning newscast, Fox 59 News at 10.  He was a key contributor  to one of the most successful local news launches ever among Fox affiliates.  His efforts helped make WXIN-TV “Fox Station of the Year” both in 1992 and again in 1994.

Besides his work on the anchor desk, Bob has produced Emmy-award winning special reports and documentaries during his long career at  Fox 59.  He anchored the highly-rated launch of Fox 59 News First at Four, before joining the team on Fox 59 News Live at Five.  Bob currently serves as managing editor at Fox 59.  He also anchors Fox 59 News at Six along with his duties on Fox 59 News at 10.

Bob is a graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism.  He started his career in Beaumont, Texas, before accepting positions anchoring and reporting positions in Oklahoma City, Salt Lake City and Little Rock, Arkansas, before coming to Indianapolis.

Bob has been recognized repeatedly  for his volunteer work for groups such as College Mentors for Kids, the Muscular Dystrophy Association and Habitat for Humanity among others non-profits.

He and his wife Skye Winslow have raised three children in Central Indiana.  They are proud Hoosiers, who love to call Indiana their home.
