A Carmel couple was reprimanded for writing a letter to their son’s suspected killer this week.

Andrew Compton’s parents were barred from having any future contact with Gregory O’Bryan. The Comptons sent him a letter asking for the location of their son’s body.

O’Bryan reportedly answered the letter, but a judge sealed the correspondence.

O’Bryan told police Compton died during sex last October and that he put Compton’s body in a dumpster. Crews searched a nearby landfill for days, but found nothing.
