Indiana University guard Maurice Creek will be out indefinitely after injuring his right foot in Sunday’s practice, said university officials.

The extent of the injury is unknown at this time.

The junior from Oxon Hill, Md. contributed to the team by averaging 3 points and 1.6 rebounds in the past 10 games.

“Maurice has been doing so much to improve and help our team,” said IU Coach Tom Crean. “Hopefully this is just a temporary setback.”

Last season, Creek was red shirted for the season after rupturing his Achilles heel.
