Santa Claus granted a little girl a big Christmas wish when he brought her father home for the holidays.

Three-year-old Zoie Gray sat on Santa’s lap last Saturday and asked him to bring her dad, PFC Roger Gray, home for Christmas.

“I said ‘Bring my dad,'” Zoie told Fox 59. “I miss him so much!”

Her mother, Megan Gray, heard that wish and called up her cousin to put together a plan to make her daughter’s dream come true.

PFC Gray was due to arrive at the Indianapolis International Airport on Wednesday night and Megan Gray was sure to have Santa deliver him to her daughter.

“I’m super anxious. I can’t wait,” said Megan Gray as the family waited for his arrival.

Finally, around 8 p.m., Santa brought PFC Gray down the escalator and into his daughter’s arms.

“I love you sweetheart,” he told Zoie.

She replied, “I love you too daddy.”

They hugged and shed a few tears and then Zoie thanked Santa.

“My daughter is my whole world and to know that out of anything she could’ve had at Christmas, she just wanted me to come home. And to me that’s the greatest feeling ever,” said PFC Roger Gray. “Best Christmas ever.”

PFC Gray will stay at home with his family until Jan. 4 when he is due back at Fort Benning in Georgia.
