A popular Central Indiana restaurant chain is shutting down two locations.

Scotty’s Lakehouse in Geist and Scotty’s Burger Joint in Columbus are closing.

The property owner terminated the contract with Scotty’s parent company. The two sides are trying to keep the locations open through the end of the year.

Seven Scotty’s Brewhouse and Thr3e Wise Men restaurants will stay open across central Indiana, with two more set to open next year in Northern Indiana.

The columbus location was terrible. Local also includes foods made by people not specialized in them. Toughest steak in town-twice. No thanks. No loss.

Have to disagree. This was the best restaurant in Columbus and I'd make a point to eat there every time I visited. Never had a bad meal or experience there.

The Lakehouse always had great food and was always packed. This makes the second time a restaurant I love is closing due to the landlord terminating the lease despite the place doing very well.

Landlord at that location is a compete slime ball. It's a shame his greed had to ruin a Greg spot for Geist.
