With the new storm coming, counties across central Indiana are getting ready.

Indy Snow Force announced Monday that 118 drivers will report for duty Christmas night.

Marion County isn’t the only county standing by.  Johnson County will call in crews once it starts snowing. They’ll have 16 trucks working non-stop to clear the roads.

Shelby County is fully stocked with sand and salt. County officials said their 10 snow plows are ready to go.

Emergency management director in Boone County said Monday that they’re waiting for the forecast to firm up some before deciding if they’re going to pre-treat the roads with their 17 plows.

In Hendricks County, officials said they will do whatever it takes to get the roads clear. They have 27 pieces of equipment ready to go.
