Three injured in northeast side crash

Three people were taken to the hospital following an accident on the city’s northeast side Monday.

It happened at East 56th Street and Kessler Boulevard East Drive just after 6 p.m.

Three vehicles – a Honda Odyssey, a Nissan Maxima and a Chevrolet HHR – were involved. It’s not clear who hit whom.

Two of the drivers had to be extricated from their vehicles. An adult female suffered extensive injuries. All three received treatment at IU Health Methodist Hospital.

Investigators are still working to determine what led to the accident.

    Prayers to all involved…. side note….SLOW DOWN theres black ice on the roads, the way people drive in this area you would think you were at the Indy 500…..smh

    Prayers go out to all the families and people involved in this accident. My aunt was involved in this particular accident, and I pray the Lord gives her a speedy recovery. Thank God For Life!!!

    get well all. This intersection is nuts, and so is Kessler and Binford. especially in the morning rush for Cathedral, slow down kids.
