INDIANAPOLIS — The Metro Police Violent Crimes Unit arrest a man reportedly tied to a November, 2012 homicide.

Lamar Wooden, 23 of Indianapolis, was scheduled to appear in court Tuesday morning for an unrelated criminal charge.

When Wooden left court he was immediately placed into custody by police and brought to homicide detectives for questioning.

Police believe Wooden is responsible for the shooting death of 34-year-old Mychael Marshall on November 29, 2012.

Marshall was found shot to death inside his apartment in the 4200 block of El Lago Blvd, near East Hanna and South Keystone Avenues.

Wooden faces preliminary charges of murder and is currently being housed at the Marion County Jail with no bond.
