A Muncie woman denies she had sex with a 15-year-old boy, saying she doesn’t approve of interracial dating, according to court documents.

Brenda Phillips, 44, faces a preliminary charge of sexual misconduct with a minor.

Police began investigating after the Department of Child Services received an anonymous tip back in September 2012.

The 15-year-old boy claims he was walking home from his nephew’s house and asked Phillips for a ride home last July. When they got to his home, he said he asked Phillips to show him her breasts. He said the two then had sex in the front seat of her car.

The teen said he thinks his mom or someone must have seen him having sex because he never told anyone about the alleged encounter.

When confronted, Phillips contended that the boy exposed himself to her in the car. She said she forced him out of the car. Phillips also claims the boy previously touched her 4-year-old grandson inappropriately.

Court documents went on to say the teen correctly identified piercings Phillips had on various parts of her body.

Phillips has been released on $25,000 bond.
