ANDERSON – Keihin North America will bring between 130 to 175 management, engineering and development jobs to Anderson’s Flagship Enterprise Center over the next five months.

During a Jan. 15 meeting, Greg Young, vice president of Keihin North America, shared the company’s plans to relocate its North American Headquarters operation, including research, development, engineering, and management, from Fishers to Anderson’s Flagship Enterprise Center.

“We see this as a unique opportunity to consolidate our management, research, engineering, and development teams at a great location supporting our ongoing manufacturing, sales, and logistical operations in North America, while becoming part of a dynamic and creative technology campus,” said Young in his presentation to the Commissioners.

The relocation opportunity dates back to the previous administration. Since then, the City, Flagship and CED have continued to court the company over the past six years.

Up to $1.3 million in available TIF funds were donated by members of the Redevelopment Commission to assist with tenant improvements and to assist in abating the first two years of Keihin’s six-year lease.
