A pot-bellied pig found wandering among a group of feral cats will soon have a new home.

A Plainfield rescue has offered to take in the 300 pound animal. Last week, the un-nuetered animal was found eating cat food near East 64th Street.

Animal Care and Control had been housing the pig since its discovery.

Pigs and other livestock cannot be owened within the city limits.
