Deadline on property tax bills & initative to make government more transparent

Mason King with the Indianapolis Business Journal discusses how the Marion County Assessor’s Office is bracing for a deadline. Homeowners have until Monday to file an appeal on their property tax bills.

There’s also an effort in the Statehouse to make sure taxpayers know where their money is going when it comes to job creation, and their efforts are focused on the Indiana Economic Development Corporation.
