Indy Snow Force crews are preparing to treat the roadways in preparation of Friday’s anticipated snowy forecast.

Ninety drivers are scheduled to report at work at 11 p.m. Thursday and will work a full 12-hour shift to monitor the road temperatures and pre-treat the roads for morning rush hour commuters.

One to two inches of new snow accumulation is possible Friday, according to the National Weather Service in Indianapolis.  The snow is most likely to arrive before noon.

Indy Snow Force said another fleet of 90 drivers will report at 11 a.m. to treat the roads as necessary throughout the rest of the day.
