The Dove Recovery House reopened Tuesday.

An electrical fire in the home’s basement earlier this month displaced more than a dozen people.

Founded in 2000, Dove Recovery House provides supportive transitional housing for women recovering from substance abuse. The women who live there are given wraparound support in order to become clean, sober and ultimately self-sufficient.

The Women’s Fund donated $4,000 for the recovery effort.

Those who were staying at the home were put up in hotels until repairs were made.
