So far this year, no one has been lucky enough to claim the Powerball jackpot, which now sits at an estimated $151 million.
Although a person’s chance of winning is slim to none, thousands of Hoosiers have won cash playing the Powerball. Hoosier Lottery officials said Powerball players in Indiana have won more than $810,000 in prizes on more than 115,000 winnings tickets over the course of the last nine consecutive draws.
Indiana participants have until 9:58 p.m. Wednesday to purchase tickets in order to be eligible for the $151 million jackpot.
Tickets can be purchased for $2.
