The Indiana Business Journal has named IMPD Public Information Officer Kendale Adams one of its “Forty under 40.”

Adams first became interested in the police department after being paired with an officer for a 100 Black Men program in high school. He went through the police academy three months after graduating from Ball State University and is still with the department 15 years later.

“I really enjoy being one of the faces of the department and showing the diversity of the department” Adams told IBJ.

Adams is also still involved with the 100 Black Men program. “It’s important for me to give back because this really helped spur my career path when I was in high school” he said.
