Purdue evens Big Ten record with win over Penn State

Despite going 0-10 from behind the arc, the Purdue Boilermakers (12-11, 5-5) knocked off Penn State on the road 58-49 on Tuesday night.

Purdue went just 20 of 49 from the field, but defensively held Penn State to an even worse 19 of 62. Between the two teams, they went 2-30 for three pointers.

Ronnie Johnson had a career high 16 points, while A.J. Hammons finished with a double-double of 15 points and 12 rebounds.

The Boilermakers will next host Michigan State at 7:00 on Saturday night.
