A key witness took the stand Friday in the civil case against former Supermarket CEO Don Marsh.

He’s accused of using more than $3 million in company money to pay for personal expenses.

A former executive testified that he was so worried about the company’s finances 10 years ago that he met with bankruptcy lawyers. Marsh reportedly ignored his concerns.

The 75-year-old Marsh spent nearly 40 years leading the Indiana-based business before it was bought by an out-of-state company.
