Indianapolis Power and Light must pay $214,200 in penalties following an explosion that injured two workers.

The Indiana Occupational Safety and Health Administration fined said the utility had broken pressure switches and didn’t have appropriate flame-resistant clothing for workers.

Last August, one worker suffered burns after coal dust ignited at the Harding Street station. Another worker suffered a broken arm.

IPL has until Friday to pay the fines.
