A national Italian fast-food chain is offering couples the chance to eat spaghetti free for a year if they get engaged at one of their restaurants on Valentine’s Day.

Fazoli’s announced Tuesday they would give two certificates for a year’s worth of free spaghetti to any couple that chooses to do the proposal at the restaurant on Feb. 14.  The couple will also be entered for their chance to win $500 worth of catering by Fazoli’s for their wedding reception, rehearsal dinner or shower.

“We were pleasantly surprised by the number of couples who got engaged at Fazoli’s last year,” said Cathy Hull, Fazoli’s chief marketing officer. “This year, with the chance to have the wedding catered by Fazoli’s, we anticipate even more couples to make Fazoli’s the place to pop the question.”

Those interested in popping the question at Fazoli’s should let a restaurant manager know in advance.
