Salvation Army raises $3.1M during Tree of Lights campaign

The numbers are in and the Salvation Army raised $3.1 million during their Tree of Lights campaign.

While that’s 5 percent below their goal, officials are still grateful for Hoosiers’ generosity.

The shortfall may mean the organization will have to dip into reserves but officials said they will not cut any services.

Last year, the nonprofit served meals, provided shelter and helped thousands overcome substance abuse problems.
