The Carmel greyhounds wrapped up a perfect season in the Metropolitan Conference on Friday night beating Terre Haute North 54 to 40. The game was the conference finale for Carmel who finished 7-0 to win the outright and undefeated MIC boys basketball championship. The greyhounds still have one game remaining in the regular season they host Brebeuf on Feb. 22 at 7:30 p.m.

In other MIC play North Central tried to keep pace with Carmel but with a loss to the Greyhounds earlier in the season it was impossible for the Panthers to tie for the title. North Central still took care of business though, they took down Center Grove at home 82 to 56. In the victory Eron Gordon finished with a game-high 23 points while Darius Latham added 19 points and 13 rebounds.

North Central still has two games remaining on the season, on Saturday they host Carroll at 7:30 p.m.
