Periodic snow showers will occur across Central Indiana through mid-afternoon Friday and again late in the evening.

The day will remain mostly cloudy with a high near 34 degrees and a low around 20 degrees Friday night.

The snowfall is expected to continue throughout the afternoon hours and pick up again after 1 a.m.

The quick dustings of snowfall will reduce visibility and cause slick roads, so drivers are urged to use caution when commuting.

Snow showers are expected to continue on Saturday, followed by a rain and snow mix on Monday and Tuesday.
