As a light snow fell Tuesday morning, several ambulances and Indianapolis EMS vans lined up for a procession honoring one of the two EMTs killed over the weekend in a crash involving their ambulance.

Timothy McCormick, 24, and Cody Medley, 22, were killed in the crash after a car ran a flashing red light and collided with their ambulance, investigators said.

A memorial service for McCormick is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at SS. Peter and Paul Cathedral in Indianapolis.  The procession starts at 10 a.m. and leaves from the Crown Hill cemetery, where the ambulances and other emergency vehicles gathered.

A funeral for Medley is set for Friday, but will remain a private affair.

A public memorial service is also scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Butler University’s Clowes Memorial Hall.  That service is open to all members of the public.
