Tracking rain on radar this morning…a brief period of sleet and rain to begin before changing to all rain this morning just north of Indianapolis…timing still has rain arriving in city between 6 and 8am…roads will be mainly wet with this event but some sleet pockets look likely north of Marion County.

Our farthest fringe counties could see a longer duration of wintry mix and bears watching but this will be happening during the late hours of the morning rush!  Rain to snow later tonight and into tomorrow with light accumulations locally through Thursday!

Today:  Wintry mix to rain, breezy wet and chilly  High: 40

Tonight:  Rain to snow mix…slick roads and colder  Low: 32

Wednesday:  Rain and snow mix…minor accumulations (especially north)  High: 36

Thursday:  Areas of light snow…minor accumulations   High: 34

Friday:  Passing flurries/brief snow showers…chilly   High: 33

Saturday:  Partly sunny, chilly but mainly dry  High: 34

Please don't show icy roads during live broadcast while talking about what's coming later, it makes one think the roads are already icy.

But all one has to do is to listen to the broadcast versus attempting to confer weather information from news visuals.

Or go to a good weather site. Or look out a window.

That is only north of Marion county getting that and if we do get that south by tomorrow the roads will be cleared off by the INDOT.
