Freezing rain is causing ice to form on elevated surfaces like power lines, tree limbs and road signs.  Some ice could also develop on side walks and roads creating some slicks spots.  Up to a tenth of an inch of ice is possible through 1 PM. Here’s a look at what the freezing rain is already doing in our norther counties.  This first picture is from Muncie.

The precipitation type should transition to rain and eventually a rain/snow mix in our northern counties later this afternoon.
