A man police believe fatally stabbed his mother  and half-sister has been moved to an Indianapolis jail.

White County officials said David Rodenbarger was transferred to Indy for safety purposes. Because of pending litigation, they would not give any other details on why Rodenbarger was moved.

The 20-year-old has also recently been ordered to undergo a mental evaluation.

Police said he used a meat fork and knife to stab the two victims to death earlier this month.
